A signing ceremony for the Observer Membership Agreement with ENTSO-E was held at the ENTSO-E Headquarters in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, on 13 December 2022. The Observer Membership Agreement will be valid for a period of three years, effective January 1, 2023.
With this agreement, the European Transmission System Operators express their commitment to continue to fulfill their responsibilities to strengthen and develop cooperation in interconnected power systems and with it to keep the lights on at all times in Europe and beyond.
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of our Corporation, Mr. Orhan KALDIRIM, at the ceremony, "underlined the positive contribution of TEİAŞ to the stability of the Continental Europe synchronous area and expressed his wishes for the Agreement to further develop the technical and operational cooperation between ENTSO-E and TEİAŞ."
ENTSO-E President Mr. Herve LAFFAYE congratulated everyone working on the Agreement with the signing of the Observer Membership Agreement, which will strengthen cooperation and support the sharing of best practices to maintain transmission system stability.
